Enjoy the journey.

“Joy is a state of contentment not dependent on external circumstances.”

When things are going well, we feel elated. When hardships come, we can sink into despair. But true joy transcends these waves of circumstance. These waves can come during your lactation journey. Our goal is to “lind” you some joy while edifying, equipping and educating you on your unique journey with excellence.

FAQs

We accept many major insurance plans and verify if there are any costs associated with your care.

Yes. In-home/in-person visits include a base travel fee of $75. Don’t let that hinder you from receiving care. We can discuss how the fee can be waived.

No, it should not hurt but there can be discomfort and soreness if latch, position, and flange sizes need adjustments. We are happy to help find the cause of your discomfort.

Choose any position that is comfortable for both you and your baby and from which you can maintain a deep latch. However, be flexible and prepared to have an alternative position in mind.

Diaper output and contentment after feeding. There is a minimum amount of diapers an infant should have at different ages. If breasts are softened after feedings, the infant is content with relaxed arms, legs, and hands, they are likely content after the feeding.

If prenatally, have clearance from your OB provider to start hand expressing or pumping so you don’t start labor earlier than needed. But otherwise, you can hand express as much as you like. Pumping initiation is determined on an individual basis.

Testimonials

why families choose linding Joy...

"Lindsey went above and beyond to make sure we got rest and took care of the car seat stuff. She was an expert at nighttime nursing. We really cannot say enough about her, she was THE BEST!"

"Lindsey is amazing and truly came to the rescue when I was feeling so desperate and losing hope in this breastfeeding journey. She came to my house and helped me and baby with latching techniques, really taking the time to observe and guide me through the process and answering all of my questions. She was not only professional but deeply caring. It's not an exaggeration that I finally saw light at the end of the tunnel just after just one session with her. I have so much more confidence than ever before. She reminded me that I'm not alone in this difficult journey and helped me to see that I am doing a good job even on the hard days. As a new mom, that meant everything. I can't recommend her enough to any new parent needing support."

"I had the most amazing experience here. My Labor and delivery nurses were amazing. As for post-partum, they were all amazing too!! Lindsey was exceptional and super sweet. She even made us a handwritten note which helped make the experience that much better!"

"Lindsey is a wealth of knowledge, professionalism and comfort. She gave me peace of mind when I had any doubts and was able to answer any and all questions in a way I could understand and pass along to others. Her experience speaks for itself but her personality is what makes her so special."

"Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again–rejoice.” - Phil 4:4
